Visiting the MAIN TOWER observation platform
From Saturday 01/08/2022: We ask for your understanding that only a limited number of people may be on the platform at the same time. For your protection - and the protection of others - access is only permitted for people in the 2G plus group (vaccinated, recovered with booster vaccination or antigen test) until further notice - the evidence will be checked accordingly. Exceptions are permitted for people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (presentation of a certificate), as well as for unvaccinated children and adolescents under 18 years of age. For these groups of people, a corona antigen test from an official testing station or a valid student test booklet ("Schüler-Testheft") not older than 24 hours is required.
It is compulsory to wear a medical mask in the entire building and in the waiting areas. The tickets available in the ticket shop and at the cash desk are valid for 45 minutes. Children aged 6 and younger are exempt from wearing a mask and providing a negative COVID test.
2G plus specifications:
Vaccinated: Verification of the vaccination pass or an official app (Corona Warn or CovPass). At least 14 days must have passed since the last required single vaccination.
Recovered: You need a recovery certificate or proof of a positive PCR test which was provided not longer than six months ago.
For both groups, proof of a booster vaccination or a corona antigen test (not older than 24 hours) from an official test center is required.
Unfortunately, the existing hygiene concept does currently not allow larger groups and school classes to purchase tickets in advance. Due to these temporary restrictions, we cannot guarantee that everyone in a group will be able to visit the platform at the same time, especially at peak times.
We monitor the situation carefully and keep ourselves informed about the official recommendations and instructions. More information on basic protective measures rki.de.
Experience Frankfurt at its most beautiful
It is hard to imagine that, as late as the 1950s, the historic Kaiserdom imperial cathedral was still the tallest building in the city. Today, the famous skyline can be made out from a long way and at its heart, where the financial district meets the city centre: the MAIN TOWER.
If you take a somewhat closer look at Frankfurt, you will quickly discover that Germany’s leading financial centre has a great deal more to offer than just the stock exchange and banks. Similarly, not everything revolves around international finance in the MAIN TOWER either. With its cultural highlights and first-class cuisine, exciting insights and ever fascinating panoramas, the MAIN TOWER is not just a special skyscraper; it has also become a true Frankfurt landmark.
Tickets for the observation deck can be obtained 24/7 in our online ticket shop or during opening hours at the reception desk directly in the MAIN TOWER.
