Since its inauguration in the year 2000, the MAIN TOWER has been an exceptional building and has occupied 4th place in a ranking of the highest skyscrapers in Germany.
With its innovative construction, the MAIN TOWER is a technical masterpiece. Whereas the outer walls in many high-rise buildings are designed to be load bearing, the vertical load on the MAIN TOWER is borne by the core structure and exterior supports. This was the only way to realise the fully glazed façade.
The MAIN TOWER is the first skyscraper in Europe to be built with a fully glazed façade. As a result, the building gives a far lighter and more transparent impression than conventional skyscrapers, which naturally fits in particularly well with the public character of the MAIN TOWER.
The MAIN TOWER is not just a popular destination for excursions and a Frankfurt landmark, but it is naturally also a place where people work hard. The innovative façade concept ensures, above all, a pleasant working atmosphere.
If you would like to experience contemporary art in a particular context, you will find unusual works of art in the MAIN TOWER.
A work of art is neither an object for mere decoration nor simply a capital investment – it lives far more from its confrontation with the viewer.
