People with reduced mobility in the MAIN TOWER

People whose mobility is limited are also able to visit the MAIN TOWER in Frankfurt. Due to the structural nature of the MAIN TOWER, wheelchair users or those who have difficulty in walking, and are only mobile with the assistance of another person or of mobility aids, may only enter the building with a companion. The elevator takes you to the enclosed platform area on the 55th floor as well as the restricted outdoor area there; the open platform on the 56th floor is only accessible by stairs.

In case of evacuation, the companion is required to assist security staff in taking the mobility-impaired person to a secured area in front of the fire lift. This rule was agreed jointly with the health and safety authorities and is intended to ensure the safety of visitors in case of evacuation.

We will be happy to provide visitors travelling alone who have limited mobility with someone to accompany them. If you are interested in this service, please get in touch with us before your visit using the contact form. We recommend that you choose a regular weekday for your visit. On weekends and public holidays, when visitor numbers are highest, we are only able to offer our service on a very limited basis.
