Art

Anyone wishing to experience modern art in a special ambience will find exceptional works of art in the MAIN TOWER.

A work of art is neither an object of decoration nor a mere investment; indeed, it could be said that it only exists by virtue of the dialogue in which it engages its observer – hence the importance of the dialogue in which it engages our employees and visitors. Since 1996, the collecting of Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen (Helaba) has been concentrated on the works of contemporary artists. Their works are installed in our corridors and offices according to a concept which dictates that two contrasting artistic positions be presented on each floor. In this way, art as encountered in our daily lives is a constant source of new perspectives, and as such has long been a defining part of our corporate culture. You will find further information on Helaba and its collecting under www.helaba.de.
